Corps Members on Parade Ground NYSC Sign MoU with BoI on Entrepreneurial Skills for Corpers The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with Bank of Industry, BoI on entrepreneurial skill development for Nigerian graduate youths just as a Corps member got N3.8m collateral-free loan. The bank, in collaboration with the NYSC, is to train and empower Corps members in various entrepreneuria l skills and give them collateral-free loan as capital and expansion of business initiatives. Ms. Eveyln Oputu, Managing Director, BoI, while signing the MoU with the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Johnson Olawunmi in Abuja said there is no doubt that Nigerian youths are talented and deserve every support. Anti-World Cup protests planned in 36 Brazilian cities

If you are one of those who think Nigeria or some other African Countries are the only parts of the world where things don't go right, I guess you may have a re-think following the latest development from Brazil, the host country for the 2014 World Cup. Anyways, opponents of the upcoming World Cup in Brazil said they have scheduled protest demonstrations in 36 cities for Satu rday. Under the slogan “there won’t be a Cup”, the Rio Anonymous group called for the protests on its Facebook page Thursday, calling it “the first action this year to say no to the World Cup.” Organizers are railing against police violence, inadequate social services and the billions of dollars being spent on staging the World Cup, which is to be held in 12 host cities from June 12 to July 13. “The goal of the protests is to fight for the interests of the people and of any person who wants a country with more justice and less inequality,” they said. “FIFA (world’s football governing body)...
