How To Find Peace There is such a thing as 'Peace with God'. It may be felt and known. My heart's desire and prayer is that you may be able to say with the Apostle Paul, "Being Justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:" (Romans 5: 1)) This peace with God is a calm, intelligent sense of friendship with the Lord of Heaven and earth. He that has it, feels as if there is no barrier and separation between himself and his Holy Maker. He can think of himself as under the eye of an All-Seeing Being, and yet not feel afraid. It is only such a man that would see death waiting for him and yet not be greatly concerned. He can go down into the cold river-close his eyes on all his possessions on earth- launch forth into a world unknown, and take up his abode in the silent grave- and still feel peace. Do seek the peace of God today. Shalom!
As President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria renames UNILAG, students take to the street in protest.
Children have for long suffered from the hands of elders. And as the world marks Children's day, one would wonder if African countries also have reasons to celebrate. Because the challenge is that you cannot celebrate what you do not value. Or may be there are Countries in Africa where the Child's Right Act is active, I doubt non. Oh Africa, I fear for thy future if the leaders of this generation continued to expose thy future leaders to corruption, inconsistent policy change, among other social issues, not to mention our political decadence, that has eaten deep into their systems. Anyway, all hopes are that things would change some day but I guess not if we continue like this.
Sometimes people offend us and in a bid to correct the trash, they get it worse. But if you could give them another chance, they could as well surprise you. Let's give second chances because if God has not given you same, where do you think you would be?
